You’ve probably seen the graceful Lyman Whitaker Wind Sculptures at the Kwavasa/Highway 91 roundabout. They’re part of the Ivins Arts Commission’s annual Art on Loan program, where artists generously let us display their work on City property for a year. These sculptures are scheduled to be returned to the artist in October.
Lyman has generously pledged a major donation to help keep the sculptures in Ivins. And since Ivins residents have said they prefer private fundraising over public funding for art, our Arts Commission is stepping up to raise the $48,700 needed to keep them spinning here permanently.
Want to help keep these iconic sculptures spinning in Ivins, not spinning off into the sunset? Visit IvinsArtsCommission.com/donate to donate or learn more. And give the wind something to celebrate by spreading the word.
