It has been a custom for Ivins residents to meet together annually near the beginning of each year to discuss the past year and the year ahead in the mayor’s Annual Neighborhood Meetings. Well, they are happening soon, so please mark your calendar. I hope to see you there.
They will take place on Tuesday February 27th for residents living east of 200 East; Wednesday February 28th for those living between 200 East and 400 West and Thursday, February 29th for everyone living west of 400 West.
They will be held in the Council Chambers in City Hall (85 N Main Street) beginning at 7:00 P.M.
The sectioning of the city over the three nights is to balance the number of attendees at each meeting. But all three meetings are open to anyone as your schedule permits.
The format will be as in years past beginning with brief reports on matters of general interest followed by a question-and-answer period. Much has happened in the last year and there are many issues that could be discussed. I hope you’ll schedule one of those evenings to join with us. I look forward to seeing you then.
