In-Depth Discussions on Critical Issues

We’ve had neighborhood meetings to talk about dozens of issues that matter to residents, from speeding to housing to water to rapid growth and more. A lot of good information came out of those meetings. But with so many topics those discussions only scratched the surface.

So, the Mayor has decided to hold one community meeting a month for the next four months. He’s calling these “Talkabouts.” Each meeting will be devoted to just one topic. This gives all of us the opportunity to get more facts about issues and more time for residents to comment and share concerns and ideas.

All of the meetings will be at Rocky Vista University so each meeting doesn’t have to be spread over three nights because City Hall can’t accommodate much more than 80 people. Here are the dates and topics. Please put them on your calendar. I’ll provide more information about each Talkabout as I learn more.
