Grow Your Own Dinner & Impress Friends

Are you yearning for a garden but your yard is too small? Do you crave truly fresh vegetables that you KNOW are organic? If so, the Ivins Community Garden is the place for you!

Here’s the location. Google Earth hasn’t photographed it since the 20 garden plots were created early this year.

A limited number of gardeners had to drop their plots for the 2026 growing year, so this is your chance to grab one. There are only 7 spots available. It costs $40 a year.

Go to https://ivins.recdesk.com/Community/Program to sign up now. Don’t miss this opportunity to get your hands dirty and get fresh produce in return.

There is secondary water with a tap at each plot. You need to put together a drip irrigation system or water by hand – which of course I don’t recommend because our climate would need that twice a day in the summer!

There is plenty of mulch at the garden, which helps with water retention and weed suppression both. There is also one culinary tap at the garden which you can use in combination with a water barrel (or buckets) to extend the gardening season into the spring and fall.
