Snowpack in Utah is above average. It\u2019s early in the season, but hey, good news is good news.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This map, from KSL (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ksl.com\/weather\/snowpack\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">https:\/\/www.ksl.com\/weather\/snowpack<\/a>), shows our area has just over twice the average snowpack compared to the past 30 years at the same time. Snowpack is vital, ultimately accounting for most of our annual water supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We still have a water problem and need to take significant action, but let\u2019s enjoy this bit of good news today. That should have been the breakthrough moment. Instead, here we are in September, and now we\u2019re told the plan may not be finalized until the end of 2025.
